Welcome to the HubSpot Migrations Portal

This site is meant as a repository of knowledge and instructions on setting up templates and migrating existing static websites onto the HubSpot Content Management System. It is not necessary to login to this portal in order to view any of it's content.

Although anyone is welcome to browse the site, this is not the place for HubSpot customers to learn about using the CMS - there's a ton more information on that subject in the Help & Support area. Customers looking for help can also file a support request.

New Migrations Techs just starting out should go and sign up for a free trial of HubSpot. This will give you your own CMS portal that can be used for learning and experimentation.

A few notes...

In the discussions and instructions on this site we use the terms "template", "theme" and sometimes "skin" interchangeably - don't let this throw you.

We'll try and keep the focus of this site on our specific tasks - template setups and migrations... so we won't be discussing elementary or general HTML and CSS rules, CMS basics and so on.

The #1 rule:

We are migrating static websites onto the CMS in order for the site owner to be able to easily edit his content. If faced with a choice between "looks just like the old site" and "easy to edit the content", ALWAYS choose "easy to edit".
